Our story
We're building the Muslim directory. Together.
Qurba was started by Palestinian Muslims in the United States. We kept finding Muslim‑owned businesses ten minutes from home that we never knew existed.
Our communities are full of Muslim‑owned businesses, but most of what we know about them lives in group chats and word of mouth. When a family moves to a new city, or someone needs a dentist or a lawyer, that information is hard to find. Halal food apps and masjid finders each cover one piece. Nothing covered all of it.
Qurba is the map we wanted. The name means nearness, the closeness of family and neighbors. Anyone can add a place, a person checks it, and neighbors vouch for it. It's free because it's a community project first.
We started Qurba as Palestinians because we know how much a community depends on staying connected. The app is live, and the directory grows with every place you add. It's the first thing we're building for the Ummah, and it won't be the last.

Our principles
Six commitments.
Community first
Qurba is free and has no ad tracking. Places are sorted by distance, not by who paid.
Every kind of place
Clinics, law offices, tutors and mechanics belong on the map, not just restaurants and masjids.
Trust you can check
Every label names its source and a person checks every listing. We never publish negative labels about a business.
Rewards for helping
Khair rewards service to the community. Points can't be bought or spent.
Private by default
We don't keep your location history, we don't sell data, and we never ask your religion.
Built to last
A directory is infrastructure. It should still work in ten years.
